Our sweet baby girl turned 2 years old! We can't believe that it has been 2 years since we met her for the first time. She has really completed our family. She continues to prove how smart she is. She is so communicative and talks in full sentences. She surprises us every day with what she says and does. Lilly has no fear and loves to climb, flip, jump, roll, etc. She also loves to sing her songs. Her favorites are Row Row, Itsy Bitsy, Abc's, If Your Happy and You Know It, and Happy Birthday. She does all of the hand movements along with the songs. She also loves to count and is starting to count items, rather than reciting her numbers. She can count up to 20, and can count about 5 objects. She knows her colors well and calls everything pink "Princy" for princess. She is obsessed with princesses and all things girly, yet will be the first to try to touch a lizard, roly poly, or frog. She loves getting dirty while wearing her favorite dress. She is so fun to have around and is so happy. She is also very independent and is already putting her own shoes on, taking all of her clothes off herself (including her diaper), washing herself in the bath, brushing her own teeth, etc. She is also trying to buckle herself into her own car seat, use the potty (although I think I am holding her back some in her potty training efforts. My plan to to try to train her this summer if she doesn't train herself by then). She is still a Mommy's girl and still adores her brother. She always calls him "brudder" and I love it. Ryan has recently learned how to push her buttons and finds it to be funny. She doesn't like it, so as a warning she will scream "No brudder! Not nice!" but it rarely stops him. While they are still best friends, they do fight a little more than before.
Here are some pictures of her birthday morning.
