Ryan's first bath!

Grandma Bobbi gave Ryan his first bath tonight and he surprisingly didn't mind it. She was gentle and made sure that he didn't get cold. Now he is even more handsome than he was before - if that is even possible!

We are home!

We were discharged from the hospital this morning. It is nice to be at home with our son. Thank you all for your good wishes and thoughts. It means so much to us.

Here's Ryan!

We are proud new parents of a perfect little boy! He weighs 6 lbs 11 oz and is 19 inches long. He was born Sunday 6/22/08 at 12:53 pm. Baby and mom are doing great. We are so excited for everyone to meet him soon!

Still Waiting....

We had our final doctor's appointment today and there hasn't been much progress since last week. Sarah is still scheduled to be induced this weekend. The doctor thinks that Ryan will be in the 7 -8 lb range - about 7.5 lbs. Sarah's last day of work was Friday so she is enjoying a much needed break this week before becoming a mom! As usual, we will keep everyone posted.....

New Induction Date

We had another doctor's appointment today and we have the induction scheduled with the hospital for June 21st. We will go into the hospital late Saturday night and he will be born on Sunday the 22nd. This is all contingent on him not coming early. Sarah is already starting to dilate and Ryan is head down. According to the doctor, he is already pretty far down, so there is a real possibility that he will be here before the induction date! We will keep everyone posted.
