Baby Food!!!

The most exciting part of Ryan's doctors appointment today was getting the go ahead to start feeding him baby food. We started with rice cereal tonight. I think he kept a little down, but most of it he spit out. It was pretty fun to feed him though. We had Grandma and Grandpa Reckers on the web cam and Grandma Bobbi here so everyone could share in the experience. I have a feeling it will be a while before he figures out that he is supposed to swallow the food and not spit it out. At least it didn't make him cry. Can't wait to try sweet potatoes next week!!

Happy Halloween

Ryan had to get his 4 month shots on Halloween. He took them like a little champ though. He didn't cry, he just whimpered a little. He is still long and lean, and developing very well. The doctor said he was "advanced" for his age since he can roll from his back to his belly already. The doctor also said that it is ok for Ryan to sleep on his face (his favorite position) so we don't need to wake up and move him anymore. Here are some pictures from his first Halloween. We had a lot of Trick or Treaters and a visit from Ryan's cousins, Jack and James.

Big Week

This was a big week. I turned 4 months, and I figured out how to roll over from my back to my front. I also took my first bubble bath, and I played in a moon walk for the first time.

Giggle

Ryan gave us his first true giggle today. It was the cutest thing that I have ever heard. He was sitting in his chair and I asked him if he just pooped and out of no where he busted up and started laughing. I can't wait to hear it again.
