Here are the kids' school pictures. Lillian's looks alot like Ryan's from last year. Like she might cry at any moment. She actually loves school, despite her lack of a smile. Ryan's picture turned out great. He practiced smiling for that picture for a few days. He took it very seriously, and I am glad he did. I had to put the side by side comparison from last year to this year. What a difference a year makes!

Ballunar with Grammy and David
My Mom and David took Ryan to the Ballunar festival in Clear Lake this year. But what's even more exciting, is they stayed in a hotel so they could get up early to see the balloons launch. Ryan loves to stay in hotels. The night before, they went to Kemah to ride some rides and have dinner. Ryan told me that the train ride through the tunnel "was a little bit scary b/c the Halloween decorations moved." Then he said "But don't worry Mommy, they were just pretend!" He had a blast and hasn't stopped talking about it. His favorite hot air balloon was the REMAX balloon.

Another Pumpkin Patch
We have a great little pumpkin patch in our neighborhood that Ryan just loves. We went a couple of weeks ago and planned to go back this week, but the mosquito's have been horrible, so unless they go away this week with the cool front, we aren't going back.
On a side note, here is a cute Ryan story. He is into wearing his watch all of the time and wants to tell time all day long. In the car today this was our conversation.
Ryan: " Mommy, I have a great idea!"
Me: "What is your idea?"
Ryan: "Maybe you can find Lilly a small watch to wear."
Me: "That is a great idea. Do you think she will want to wear it?"
Ryan: "Yes, because she always looks at my watch. But Mommy, it has to be small for her small little arms."

| This is a very typical and common Ryan face these days. When he doesn't want to do something, he will make this face. |
| Only picture of the two of them that I could get. |

More Gymnastics
Ryan found his niche at gymnastics - the bars. He loved them and is actually pretty good at them. He had another successful class, so we are moving forward. He seems to lose focus from time to time and it easily distracted. Something that probably has to do with his age, but also something we will work on a little.

Elmo!
After Ryan's Gymnastics class Grammy and I took the kids to meet Elmo at Chick Fila. Lillian loved watching Elmo from afar and would cry when close to him. It took Ryan a while to warm up to him, but once he did he loved him! This Elmo talked and sang, which was a treat for Ryan. Not to mention the Elmo theme song that played throughout the store. It was a special day for the kids, that's for sure!!
