4th of July

This year our community fireworks were cancelled due to the lack of rain and burn bans in the area.  But the scheduled concert and other fun activities were still on.  We headed out at 6:30 and planned to stay about an hour, but the kids were having so much fun we stayed well past their bedtime.   There was lots popcorn and sno cones eaten, and Ryan got his face painted for the first time.  He was so proud of it and didn't want me to wash it off during his bath.

Ryan and his best friend, Eva.  She met a blue sno cone a few minutes before this picture.  Needless to say, she was a huge fan!! 

He asked for a star.  He had the option of red or blue, and he chose red.

They were dancing, spinning, and falling down.  They were both filthy by the end of the night.
