Ryan:
27 lbs
35-36 inches (he went through a growth spurt and his doctor thinks he will be at least 6 ft tall)
Recent things: He is attaching ownership to everything. If I sat in a particular chair one day, then that chair becomes mine. He is now including himself in ownership of things. Most kids go through a "no" phase, but Ryan is in a "yes" phase. He says "yes" to most things. He has a toy lap top and can choose the correct letter for certain words. Example "What does Ryan, Cat, Mommy, Grammy, etc start with?" and he will select the correct letter on his lap top. He is definitely throwing fits more and more, especially when he doesn't get his way. He asks for fruit snacks ("neat nacks") all day long and will throw a fit when he doesn't get them. He says please and thank you for almost everything now (my proudest accomplishment). He still has the silly sense of humor he always has had. On Father's day, we were eating a cookie cake, and he would hide his piece from dad and ask for "more please". It was too cute. When he is about to do something wrong or just did something he shouldn't, he will holler "mommy, be happy"! It is pretty funny. He is so sweet to Lilly for the most part, but will pretend to hurt himself when she is crying or needing attention. He still makes us laugh all of the time!
Lilly:
10lbs 10 ozs
22 1/4 long
Can roll from belly to back. Loves to sit up, is waking once a night (sometimes twice), smiles at her brother no matter what he is doing, loves to "talk" and makes the cutest faces when she does. She smiles a lot these days and is generally content if she is not hungry, wet, tired, or bored. She is such a little joy to have around!
