Vacation time!

Rob and I took Ryan to our special place this past weekend. We went back to La Cantera Resort in San Antonio. This is where Rob proposed to me and where we got married. It was Ryan's first trip to La Cantera, and I can guarantee that it won't be his last! We had a great time. We spent the majority of time outside, swimming, playing, walking, eating, and driving the golf cart around the resort. La Cantera is situated on a hill, so the breeze made it quite nice in the blazing summer heat.

Ryan was a champ in the car (thanks to the Elmo DVD). When we arrived, they upgraded our room to the most amazing suite. It was called a Casita and it was a little off site, but turned out to be perfect! We had a separate living area, a small kitchen, 2 patios (one which we could see the fireworks from Fiesta Texas from), private pool, and they gave us a golf cart to use all weekend long to get around. What a treat! They certainly know how to treat their guests. We did not want to come back home. Here are some pictures from the weekend.
